The Healthy Activity Program (HAP) was developed under the Program for Effective Mental Health Interventions in Under-Resourced Health Systems (PREMIUM) to provide a culturally adapted, affordable intervention for depression (Fig 8) . Two RCTs limited recruitment to helpers who had a background in mental health in Pakistan and Austria 41,45. The reviewed RCTs focused on delivering SH+ to South Sudanese refugees in settlements in Uganda , refugees and asylum seekers in Western Europe 36,37, healthcare workers through social media platforms in China , and Syrian refugees in Turkey . Some RCTs provided additional support; for example, in Western Europe, facilitators had access to clinical psychologists and SH+ expert trainers who provided supervision and ensured intervention fidelity 36,37.

The reviewed RCTs implemented THP through lady (community) health workers in Pakistan , and peer mothers in India and Pakistan 93,94. The Thinking Healthy Programme (THP) is an intervention designed to manage perinatal depression (Fig 12) . The study in Colombia did not specify which components were used but allowed flexibility on modules selected by the helper, their sequence, and dosage of the intervention, although no further implementation details were provided . The Initial Group Phase (session 1) introduces members, establishes a therapeutic setting, and provides psychoeducation on depression .
